At VisionApp, we are closing a first half of 2026 marked by scientific and technological validation following our presence at Silicon Valley and the ARVO congress. Now, we are entering a new phase focused on scalability and corporate growth with our participation in the second edition of the 'Investor Matching' programme, organized by the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia (INFO).
What is the Investor Matching programme?
This is a strategic initiative designed by the Consejería de Empresa, Empleo y Economía Social to professionalize access to private funding for the region's most promising startups. The programme, which runs from March to November, acts as a bridge between technological innovation and specialized capital.
For us, being part of this selection represents an endorsement of the soundness of our business model and the viability of our tele-optometry solution in the global market.
Programme phases and VisionApp's objectives
Our participation will be structured around two key pillars:
- Training and Strategic Mentoring: Over the coming months, we will work with experts with real experience in investment funds to refine our investor pitch. The goal is to align our value proposition with the technical and financial criteria demanded by major investors.
- Matching Sessions: The programme will culminate with direct presentations to investors and funds linked to open innovation processes. These sessions will be key to giving visibility to our technology in front of profiles capable of driving our expansion.
A key step towards the 2026 Investment Round
Having clinically validated our mobile app for refractive monitoring, VisionApp is in a growth phase where strategic investment is fundamental.
Participating in 'Investor Matching' will allow us to:
- Identify strategic partners who understand the potential of digital visual health.
- Optimize our financial strategy for Seed and Series A investment rounds.
- Secure the resources needed to bring our technology to more optical centers and patients internationally.
"Strategically preparing the project presentation with someone who has been on the other side of the table." — Joaquín Gómez, Director of INFO
From VisionApp, we thank the Instituto de Fomento (INFO) for this opportunity and continue working to ensure that technology and visual care keep advancing hand in hand.
