At Vision.app we work every day to revolutionize visual health care and make it more accessible through mobile technology. Today we have great news, as we have taken a new step in our evolution by becoming beneficiaries of grants from the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia (INFO).
Specifically, we have been awarded the Innovation Voucher for Technology Transfer, an important support designed to incentivize innovation and competitiveness in the business community of our region.
Science and research applied to tele-optometry
The main objective of this program is to help Murcian companies incorporate advanced scientific knowledge into their activity. To this end, this grant allows us to hire the services of a research and knowledge dissemination organization.
What does this mean for Vision.app? That we are going to collaborate directly with the Universidad Complutense de Madrid on an ambitious technology transfer project. All of this joint work is focused on a clear objective set by the program: to culminate in the development of a new product for the market or to achieve a significant improvement in our processes. Thanks to this grant, we will be able to integrate new scientific advances into our mHealth platform.
